The portal software has been updated to allow client projects and sub tasks to be created. Against these, timesheets and rechargeable expenses can be specified and used to raise invoices, and this in turn gives an insight into the profitability of the work undertaken.
This optional feature can be enabled with Settings->Invoice Settings->Show Projects
When a project is created and selected, clients can then specify tasks, the rate, and whether they are billable.
Clients can then create weekly timesheets or daily timeslips based on project tasks:
When entering expenses, there is a drop-down to record expenses against a project, and whether these can be recharged to the client:
Clients can then use these timesheets or rechargeable expenses when invoicing the client:
Using the ‘Add Project Timesheets / Expenses’ buttons, they can then add lines to the invoice:
